Kathryn J. Dugger-Edwards

            After working as a secretary at Dugger and Cole, Kathy decided that she could do just as good a job herself and enrolled in law school at Memphis University.  While at Memphis Kathy was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for contracts and nominated for Who’s Who among American Law Students.

            Kathy came back to Dugger and Cole in 1988 following her brother, father and grandfather.  Her practice areas include real estate, domestic relations - divorce, custody, child support, contract disputes, corporations, estate planning including wills and probate.  Kathy has also trained and been listed as a Rule 31 Family Law Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court and a Family Law Mediator handling domestic violence cases. Kathy is  a licensed agent for Investors Title Insurance Company and is authorized to sell title insurance  for real estate. .

            Kathy is a member of the Elizabethton Kiwanis Club and was one of the first women to join the Club.  She is a past president of the Kiwanis club from 1996-1997 and was awarded the John Hixon Fellowship Award for outstanding service.  Kathy lives in Elizabethton with her husband Keith and their dog, Sheba.  During her spare time Kathy works in her garden and enjoys water aerobics.
